Download speeds may also be temporarily slowed in cases when patterns of system usage exceed the download threshold for an extended period of time. See the HughesNet Fair Access Policy for more information. If you choose to run VPN over satellite, your data speeds may be reduced by as much as 50-75%. Despite the high speeds, time-sensitive applications, such as multi-player "twitch" games, are also not recommended over HughesNet. 2 . Download Threshold is the volume of data that can be downloaded continuously before the Fair Access Policy may restrict the download speed. Several variables affect this number including speed of download, duration of download, and the plan's Recovery Rate. 3. Recovery Rate is the speed at which a service plan recovers the Download Threshold. 4. Satellite equipment and standard professional installation included with Promotional Plans. After 15 months, the monthly fee converts to the then-current rate. 5. PowerPak includes .98 m antenna; 2 W radio; tri-mast, non-penetrating, or pole mount; and professional installation. The PowerPak is designed to provide better performance in areas with severe weather. 6. Service Assurance Basic includes second business day coverage, 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. $29.95 per onsite repair incident in addition to monthly fee. 30-day vesting period if not ordered at time of initial purchase. 7. Service Assurance Plus includes next business day coverage, 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday. $29.95 per onsite repair incident in addition to monthly fee. 30-day vesting period if not ordered at time of initial purchase.

Accessing DIRECTV^® Programming and HughesNet services from a single dish requires the purchase of additional hardware. Professional installation required. Monthly service fees apply; 15-month commitment required. If you terminate service prior to the expiration of the 15-month commitment, you will owe and your credit card will be charged an Early Termination Fee of $300.
